Student Advising

UMass Boston Navitas GSSP Student Success staff is here to offer guidance on course selection, housing, cultural adjustment, homesickness, or just to chat and catch up. We want to help in any way we can to make sure you are successful at UMass Boston.

Students Helping Students

If you’re struggling or wanting some extra help in a specific course, UMass Boston Navitas GSSP offers tutorials which are guided by instructors and students who have excelled in their classes.

Social Events

A few times per semester the UMass Boston Navitas GSSP office organizes social events for students! Past events have included the Navitas GSSP Soccer Tournament, Mid-Semester Celebration, NYC trip, Boston Red Sox baseball game, Boston Celtics basketball game, GSSP Got Talent, Six Flags New England, Apple Picking, Whale Watching, and Salem Haunted Happenings.


In addition to the offerings through the Navitas GSSP office, UMass Boston Navitas GSSP students are also able to take advantage of services offered by University departments. For example, the UMass Boston Advising Center offers unique workshops each week which help students to study effectively, stay organized, manage homework/stress, and more.
