Graduate UMB Navitas GSSP: Policy and Global Studies

The Graduate UMass Boston Navitas Global Student Success Program (GSSP) is a two-semester program designed for students who have completed a bachelor's degree but who need or wish to have additional support to gain entry into a UMass Boston graduate degree program. The Graduate UMass Boston Navitas GSSP helps to bridge the gap in academic or English skills by offering a range of courses such as research methods and academic communication.

With an emphasis on social justice, government accountability and transparency, strengthening democratic institutions, and sustainable policies for people and planet, the McCormack Graduate School of Policy and Global Studies trains the next generation of local and global leaders in conflict resolution, gerontology, global comparative public administration, global governance and human security, international relations, public administration, and public policy.

  • Remaining credit hours to complete degree program: 15-18 credit hours

Conflict Resolution, MA

  • Progression requirements: B in all classes; 3.0 GPA minimum
  • Graduate UMass Boston Navitas GSSP credit hours applied to degree: 3-6 credit hours (1-2 credit courses). Number of credits applied to degree is subject to evaluation by the Graduate Program Department.
  • Remaining credit hours to complete degree program: 24-30 credit hours
