Why Study an MBA
The MBA program at UMass Boston combines a focused management curriculum and allows students to customize their experience by completing one or more of 14 specializations. Small classes are taught by full-time, academically and professionally qualified faculty. The classes use real-world projects and simulations to connect classroom learning to practical experience and create a thoroughly inclusive classroom environment.

Program Information
Progression Requirements
- 520 GMAT (or GRE equivalent); B in all classes; cumulative GPA of 3.0
GMAT prep course will be offered in addition to UMass Boston Navitas GSSP courses.
GMAT/GRE Waiver Policy & Application Form
Second-semester courses in the College of Management may include:
- Business and its Environment (MBA MGT 660)
- Economics for Managers (MBA AF 601)
Graduate UMass Boston Navitas GSSP credit hours applied to a degree: 3-9 credit hours (1-3 credit courses)
Remaining credit hours to complete the degree program: 33-48 credit hours. Number of required credits to complete the graduate degree is based on prior academic coursework.
Please note: number of Graduate UMass Boston Navitas GSSP credits applied to the degree is subject to evaluation by the Graduate Program Department.
